Hubert nous a parlé de réplication de dépots Wapt afin de ne pas saturer la bande passante: - serveur principal 'srvwapt' qui possède une IP type 192.168.1.100 - serveur secondaire sur un site distant, 'srvwaptdistant' avec IP 192.168.2.100
J'ai installé un apache sur le 2e serveur, et fait un rsync de /var/www/wapt/
Comment faire pour que les postes du réseau 192.168.2.0/24 récupèrent les paquets sur le 2e serveur ? Via DNS ?

Il y a deux procédures possibles suivant le type de serveur DNS : 1 - Déclarer repo_url=wapt.mondomaine.local dans le fichier wapt.get.ini des postes et faire un DNS multivues (avec bind ;) ) sur tous les lans qui répond l'IP du dépot WAPT le plus proche en fonction du client qui fait la requête DNS 2 - Déclarer une url vide repo_url= dans le fichier wapt.get.ini des postes et déclarer autant d'enregistrements SRV _wapt._tcp.mondomaine.local dans la zone DNS qu'il y a de dépôts WAPT
Chacune a ses inconvénients... - la méthode 1 suppose de pouvoir faire un bind multivues... très pratique quand on est en multisite avec des utilisateurs nomades (pour assurer un service local smtp, proxy, replicas ldap, dépôt wapt.... avec une configuration du poste client unique) mais parfois déroutant. Je ne pense pas que le dns interne de samba4 gère le multivue... ?
- la méthode 2 suppose que le "suffixe DNS principal" soit correctement défini sur chaque poste, car wapt fait une recherche DNS sur cette zone... U:>ipconfig /all

si repo_url est vide : - recherche DNS sur enregistrements SRV _wapt._tcp.mondomaine.local si des enregistrements sont trouvés, et que l'un de ces enregistrement est dans le même sous-réseau que l'interface réseau de monposte, et que le serveur correspondant répond en http, on prend celui-là sinon, on prend le premier enregitrement SRV d'un serveur qui répond, dans l'ordre des poids des enregistrement DNS SRV (le plus gros poids d'abord) - si pas d'enregistrement SRV, on recherche un CNAME wapt.mondomaine.local - si pas d'enregistrement CNAME, on recherche un A wapt.mondomaine.local
donc, si on utilise la méthode SRV, et qu'il n'y a pas de dépôt dans le même sous-réseau que mon poste, on choisit le premier qui répond dans l'ordre des poids des enregistrement DNS SRV (le plus gros poids d'abord)

En résumé:
* Au départ
1 serveur principal, 'srvwapt.reseau.local' enregistré dans le DNS en /A/, avec un /CNAME/ 'wapt.reseau.local', sur le réseau 192.168.1.0/24
En raison d'un grand nombre de paquets et du poids de certains, on souhaite mettre en place une réplication du dépôt WAPT sur un serveur 'srvwaptclone.reseau.local' sur le sous-réseau 192.168.2.0/24, qui est sur un site différent du serveur principal.
Tous les postes ont le suffixe 'reseau.local' (poussé par le DHCP)
* Mise en place
- Sur 'srvwaptclone' : installation de apache2, création du répertoire '/var/www/wapt', puis rsync du dépôt principal (srvwapt). On met un cron qui gère le rsync toutes les nuits
- Sur le serveur DNS: création d'un nouvel enregistrement SRV '_wapt' qui pointe vers 'srvwapt.reseau.local' avec un poids 100, sur le port 80. Création d'un autre enregistrement SRV '_wapt' qui pointe vers 'srvwaptclone.reseau.local' avec un poids 10.
- Sur le client Windows: édition du fichier c:\wapt\wapt-get.ini, ligne 'repo_url=' On lance ensuite un 'wapt-get update', puis un 'wapt-get -f clean', et on teste l'installation d'un paquet.

Et pour terminer, lors de la création d'un paquet Waptsetup personnalisé, l'adresse du dépôt ne peut être nulle, il faudrait pouvoir autoriser ça.

Chacune a ses inconvénients...
- la méthode 1 suppose de pouvoir faire un bind multivues... très
pratique quand on est en multisite avec des utilisateurs nomades (pour assurer un service local smtp, proxy, replicas ldap, dépôt wapt.... avec une configuration du poste client unique) mais parfois déroutant. Je ne pense pas que le dns interne de samba4 gère le multivue... ?
- la méthode 2 suppose que le "suffixe DNS principal" soit
correctement défini sur chaque poste, car wapt fait une recherche DNS sur cette zone... U:>ipconfig /all

à ma connaissance Active Directory ne supporte pas le multiview. Et Samba4, qui ré-implémente un AD, ne doit pas le supporter non plus.
Toutefois, dans le cas de Samba4 on pourrait quand même implémenter la solution 1 en déclarant une zone (ou une sous zone) différente de la zone AD géré par Samba4. Par exemple, dans le bind9, tu pourrais définir une zone wapttis.local différente de la zone tranquilit.local non intégré à Samba4, et définir le multiview bind seulement sur cette zone.
Mais bon, la solution 2 est quand même beaucoup plus conforme au fonctionnement Active Directory. Les champs SRV sont là pour cela.
